Speaker Bio: JUN-HYEOK KWAK is Professor of the Department of Philosophy (Zhuhai), Sun Yat-sen University. His main research interests lie at the crossroads of political philosophy from Socrates to Machiavelli, contemporary political theory (nationalism, patriotism, historical reconciliation), and comparative political philosophy (republicanism). Currently, he is serving as General Editor of the Routledge Series of Political Theories in East Asian Context.
